Machliniec was the German name of a small village in the Austrian province of Galizien. It is located at 49°14′35″N 24°21′18″E / 49.24306°N 24.355°E / 49.24306; 24.355, 16.8 km due east of Stryj,Ukraine and is presently known as Maxлинeць (Makhlynets’).
